Colombia High Altitude | Organically Grown

Gourmet Specialty Coffee

Situated at an altitude between 1,300 and 1,750 meters above sea level, the coffee comes from Typica, Caturra and Castillo varieties. This specialty coffee is fermented for a period of 14-18 hours, then washed and dried at the farm’s wet mill and patios. It is meticulously milled and graded to standards at the farm owned dry mill in Santa Marta.

Rainforest Alliance Organically Grown

Grown on a single Estate, on the southwest slope of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Columbia, one of the highest coastal ranges in the world. This exclusive farm has been organically certified by ECOCERT since 1999. It has also obtained the certifications from RAINFOREST ALLIANCE and SMBC.

Classic Bean

We offer this in the Classic Flat Bean. Its cup offers a rich flavor, full body, sweet citrus, caramel notes and a smooth aftertaste.

Medium Roast

We offer this organically grown coffee in a Medium Roast, developed to exemplify the characteristics that make it special.

what is a peaberry?

Peaberry beans are the result of a natural mutation found in under 10% of each harvest, which results in one bean developing within the coffee berry instead of the "Classic" two. The Peaberry bean, having not had to share nutrients with a twin, has a unique flavor profile which many consider to be superior.

I recently returned from a vacation in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Prior to going I watched a show on the Travel Channel about Jamaica. When I saw that Jamaica produces coffee beans I was excited to try this coffee. I was at my resort having breakfast only a few hundred yards from the ocean as I sipped my first of the Blue Mountain coffee. That cup was the best cup of coffee I've ever had, and I am an avid coffee drinker. I purchased a few pounds of your coffee before leaving Jamaica and now when I drink the coffee it reminds me of my first breakfast in Jamaica. I have had my first cup of Jamaican coffee in Negril back in 1981. With the internet age, I order your coffee on line right to my door for several years now. I just wanted to say that an out of town friend came to my house for a visit and she turned down a cup of coffee because she said coffee was too hard on her stomach. I told her about Blue Mountain coffee being the "best in the world" and she had a cup. Then she had 3 more after that, saying it didn't bother her at all. We roast all of our green bean, in house in small batches to order. We have developed each roast specifically by bean type, as each is unique. We offer Medium and Dark roasts depending on the product.
