Grown in the driest and highest region of Guatemala, Huehuetenango. At altitudes between 5,000 to 6,000 feet, this non volcanic coffee growing region produces coffee with complex and fruity flavors. The resulting cup is bright with a balanced acidity, nutty and rich chocolate notes with a hint of fruit.
We offer this in the Classic Flat Bean. It has a wonderful, sweet aroma, syrupy body and juicy acidity.
We offer this in a Medium Roast, developed to enhance the unique flavors within the beans of fruit, orange, milk chocolate and maple.
Peaberry beans are the result of a natural mutation found in under 10% of each harvest, which results in one bean developing within the coffee berry instead of the "Classic" two. The Peaberry bean, having not had to share nutrients with a twin, has a unique flavor profile which many consider to be superior.
